Vintage Numbered Tour Laminates #14 & #18 – Doc Gans
Vintage Numbered Tour Laminates #14 & #18 – Doc Gans
A pair of vintage round numbered laminates — #14 and #18 — sourced directly from the personal archive of Bill 'Doc' Gans, SHOWCO sound engineer who worked alongside some of the biggest names in rock and roll throughout the 1970s and '80s.
The exact provenance of these pieces is unknown — they may have been used as road case tags, luggage identifiers, or equipment markers on any number of major touring productions Doc was involved with. What is certain is that they are genuine artifacts of the working touring world, with the wear and character to prove it. #14 features engraved white numerals on a gloss black disc; #18 carries a hand-taped label. Sold as a pair.
