Steve's Music Store Montreal Vintage Tee NWT | Mike Ponczek's Closet
Steve's Music Store Montreal Vintage Tee NWT | Mike Ponczek's Closet
An original Steve's Music Store tee — new with tags — from the personal collection of SHOWCO sound engineer Mike "Dr. Funk" Ponczek.
Steve's Music Store at 51 St. Antoine West, Montreal (phone: 878.2216) was one of the most legendary independent music stores in Canada — a destination for musicians, roadies, and gear heads for decades. This coral/orange-red tee features the store's iconic psychedelic front graphic: a fluid, melting skeleton-like musician figure playing guitar, rendered in bold black ink in a classic underground art style. Below: "steve's" in bold script, 878.2216, music store, and the address 51 St Antoine W. Mtl. The back carries the store's legendary slogan in bold block lettering: "If We Don't Have It, You Don't Need It." Still has its original tags attached. Mike Ponczek spent his career sourcing gear and working with the best — and Steve's was the kind of place that made that possible.
This is a genuine, new-with-tags shirt from Mike's personal archive — verified provenance, one of a kind.
