SHOWCO Sound CBS Convention Toronto '75 Staff Crew Shirt
SHOWCO Sound CBS Convention Toronto '75 Staff Crew Shirt
A rare piece of rock history straight from the personal collection of Bill "Doc" Gans — Showco engineer whose career spanned some of the most iconic tours of the 1970s and '80s. This faded vintage black crew shirt was issued to Showco staff working the 1975 CBS Convention in Toronto — an event that brought together an extraordinary roster of CBS and Epic artists including Paul Simon, Billy Joel, Bill Withers, Jeff Beck, Boz Scaggs, Willie Nelson, and more.
Showco crew shirts were never sold to the public — they were issued exclusively to the tight-knit team of professionals who built and ran the shows. Finding one in any condition is a feat; finding one from Doc's personal stash is something else entirely.
