Parliament Funkadelic Backstage Pass – Glory Hall A Stoopid – Doc Gans
Parliament Funkadelic Backstage Pass – Glory Hall A Stoopid – Doc Gans
An original satin cloth stick-on backstage pass from Parliament Funkadelic's Glory Hall A Stoopid tour — sourced directly from the personal archive of Bill 'Doc' Gans, SHOWCO sound engineer.
This is one of the most visually striking passes in Doc's entire collection. The large rectangular teal satin pass features the Parliament Funkadelic logo in bold gold lettering at the top, with "Funkadelic" in yellow script below, and "BACKSTAGE" in large black type across the center. The right side is dominated by the iconic Glory Hall A Stoopid artwork — a caped, armored warrior figure in vivid red against the teal background, one of the most recognizable images in funk history. A blank date field sits at lower left. The Gloryhallastoopid album was released in 1979, placing this pass at the height of Parliament Funkadelic's creative and commercial peak.
