This vintage navy staff shirt was issued by Onken Sound Co. (音研), a premier Japanese professional audio company with offices in Tokyo and Osaka. The front features Onken's iconic thumbs-up logo with kanji branding; the back reads "Good Sound Good Job! ONKEN — Tokyo Osaka."
Onken was a respected name in pro audio during the 1970s–80s, producing high-end speaker systems and sound reinforcement equipment. Shirts like this were never sold to the public — they were crew and staff items, making surviving examples exceptionally scarce.
