KISS Original SHOWCO Stage Plot & Input List — ZZ Top Tour (1974/1975)
KISS Original SHOWCO Stage Plot & Input List — ZZ Top Tour (1974/1975)
An original SHOWCO stage plot and input list from KISS's tenure as the opening act for ZZ Top, circa 1974/1975. This hand-drawn document maps the full drum kit layout — Floor Toms, Snare, Hi-Hat, Bass drum, and Overhead mics — alongside guitar amp positions, monitor wedge placements, and channel assignments including Kick, Snare, Hat, Floor Toms, Ride, OH, and vocal positions. The bold "KISS" lettering at the bottom leaves no doubt whose show this was built for.
A rare dual-purpose working document — stage plot and input sheet in one — used at the console by SHOWCO engineers during the run. Notations reference mic numbers, boom positions, and monitor sends for Drum Vocal, Guitar Vocal, and Rhythm/Lead back mics.
Provenance: From the personal collection of Bill 'Doc' Gans, SHOWCO sound engineer. Authenticated SHOWCO Archives original.
