An original staff tour laminate from James Taylor's 1981 Summer Tour, sourced directly from the personal archive of Bill 'Doc' Gans — SHOWCO sound engineer who worked alongside some of the biggest names in rock and roll throughout the 1970s and '80s.
Tour crew were issued multiple laminates throughout a run — replacements, spares, and extras accumulated over weeks on the road. Each one is a distinct physical artifact with its own wear pattern, tape marks, and road history. This is one of several JT '81 laminates from Doc's archive, and no two are alike.
