Phil Collins is nominated for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist in 2026, with the upcoming induction ceremony in November 2026 — making this an especially timely piece of rock history to own.

Captured by legendary rock photographer Robert Ellis, this is from the highly stylized, high-contrast black-and-white photoshoot widely distributed by Atlantic Records and Virgin Records to promote the Genesis self-titled album and its massive subsequent 1983–1984 Mama World Tour. The image is striking — three figures in a darkened room, lit by a single window, arms crossed, staring into the middle distance. It is one of the most recognizable promotional images from Genesis's commercial peak — and from Phil Collins' reign as one of the biggest artists on the planet.

SHOWCO provided the production for the Mama Tour, and Craig Schertz was part of that crew. This photograph passed through the hands of the people who made that tour happen — verified provenance, one of a kind.
