A singular piece of rock history — this is an original crew shirt from the Genesis Oakland Stadium show, April 14, 1978, commissioned by the legendary Bill Graham as a personal thank-you to the crew. On the back, Bill listed the names of everyone who made the show happen — and signed off with "Cheers, Bill."
The back features a long roster of SHOWCO crew members — many, many of them — including a listing for "David Schad and the Show Co truckers" (note the misspelling of SHOWCO itself). Several other crew names are also charmingly misspelled, giving this shirt a warmth and humanity that no reproduction could ever capture.
This comes from the Craig Schertz collection. Never worn, though it has some storage stains that may wash out.
