ELO Electric Light Orchestra Backstage Pass – Cincinnati Riverfront Concerts – Doc Gans
ELO Electric Light Orchestra Backstage Pass – Cincinnati Riverfront Concerts – Doc Gans
An original satin cloth stick-on backstage pass from an Electric Light Orchestra show at Cincinnati Riverfront Concerts — sourced directly from the personal archive of Bill 'Doc' Gans, SHOWCO sound engineer.
This is one of the most visually striking passes in Doc's ELO collection. The large rounded-rectangle satin pass features the full ELO logo with the ornate spacecraft emblem and "Electric Light Orchestra" in bold type, "BACKSTAGE" in large black letters across the center, and the "Cincinnati Riverfront Concerts" presenter logo in an oval pill at the bottom. The left side is dominated by a wonderfully rendered animated dog in a tuxedo — pointing skyward with one finger, tail raised — a piece of pure 1970s rock graphic design. Cincinnati Riverfront Concerts was one of the premier outdoor amphitheatre series in the Midwest.
