An original California World Music Festival 1979 tee from the personal collection of SHOWCO sound engineer Mike "Dr. Funk" Ponczek.
Wolf & Rissmiller Concerts presented one of the most stacked two-day lineups in rock history at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on April 7 & 8, 1979. The bill reads like a who's-who of late-'70s rock royalty: Aerosmith and Van Halen headlined one day, Ted Nugent and Cheap Trick the other — with REO Speedwagon, Toto, The Outlaws, Eddie Money, Cheech & Chong, Boomtown Rats, UFO, April Wine, Mahogany Rush, Head East, Fabulous Poodles, Brownsville, and Mother's Finest rounding out the weekend. Mike Ponczek was there. This cream-colored tee carries the full back-of-shirt lineup and the festival's bold circular logo on the front — a genuine artifact from one of the great outdoor rock events of the era.
This is a genuine, worn shirt from Mike's personal archive — verified provenance, one of a kind.
