Alex Cooley Presents Carole King Stage Pass – Auth. Wilson – Doc Gans
Alex Cooley Presents Carole King Stage Pass – Auth. Wilson – Doc Gans
An extraordinarily rare and fragile original satin cloth Stage Pass from a Carole King show presented by Alex Cooley — sourced directly from the personal archive of Bill 'Doc' Gans, who ran sound for Carole King.
Alex Cooley was one of the most important concert promoters in the American South, responsible for landmark shows throughout the 1970s including the Omni in Atlanta. This pass reads "Alex Cooley Presents / Carole King" with a handwritten name and "Auth. By: Wilson" — a personal authorization that places this credential squarely in the hands-on, pre-digital world of 1970s touring. The pass is in extremely fragile condition — heavily worn, fraying at all edges, with significant delamination. One of the most raw and authentic pieces in Doc's collection.
